CTD operation in Karachi, 5 operatives of banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and Al-Qaeda arrested

Shiite News: CTD Sindh, in collaboration with intelligence agencies, carried out operations in the Manghopir and Kashmir Road areas of Karachi, as a result of which 5 operatives of banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and Al-Qaeda Subcontinent were arrested.

The CTD spokesperson said that the arrested suspects include Allah Noor and Sarfaraz of banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, while Saleem, Jahanzeb and Imdadullah are also associated with Al-Qaeda.

The spokesperson said that the arrested terrorists are military trained from a neighboring country and were planning terrorism in Karachi. Illegal weapons were also recovered from their possession.

The spokesperson for the Counter-Terrorism Department further said that cases have been registered against the accused at the CTD police station.
