Islamic banking system is the need of the hour, Speakers

Shiite News: An event titled “Sharia Expert Islamic Banking Program” for students of religious schools under the auspices of Al-Sadiq Institute for Islamic Banking, Finance and Takaful Pakistan was held at Jamaran Institute, Karachi.

The session was addressed by Allama Dr. Shabbir Hassan Maysami (Chairman Al-Sadiq Institute for Banking, Finance and Takaful), Mr. Faheem Maqsood (Assistant Chief Manager BSC North Nazimabad, State Bank of Pakistan), Mufti Sufyan (Sharia Scholar Faisal Bank) and Maulana Syed Mazhar Abbas Zaidi (CEO Al-Sadiq Institute).

The speakers discussed in detail the strategy and need to align banks with Islamic ideology in the context of the ideology of Pakistan.

The speakers said that Islam offers solutions to all problems. There is a need to highlight the concepts of the financial system in Islam to free the bank from the usury system.

A large number of students affiliated with religious schools participated in this program.
