Imran Khan nominates Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri as Leader of Opposition in Senate
Shiite News: Founding Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former Prime Minister Imran Khan has nominated opposition leaders for both houses of parliament.
According to sources, the founder PTI has nominated Chairman Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas as the Leader of Opposition in the Senate and Mahmood Khan Achakzai as the Leader of Opposition in National Assembly.
According to sources, the founder PTI has directed the party leaders to resign from all standing committees of the National Assembly.
According to sources, the founding chairman has also directed the party leadership to boycott by-elections.
On the other hand, Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan and Sunni Ittehad Council Chairman Sahibzada Muhammad Hamid Raza said in their statement regarding the nomination of Allama Raja Nasir Abbas that it should be remembered that this is Imran Khan’s decision, but there are many legal and administrative steps remaining in it and its implementation is subject to the same rules and steps.
