Pakistan deports 1,062 more Afghan Nationals
Shiite News: According to Express News, citing official sources, Pakistan deported 1,062 Afghan nationals through the Torkham border on Sunday. Among those expelled, 776 were Proof of Registration (PoR) card holders.
Authorities stated that the deported Afghans had been residing illegally in various districts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, of those brought to the transit camp, 123 individuals were found living without any documents, while 163 were Afghan Citizen Card (ACC) holders.
Officials further confirmed that since April 1, more than 75,000 Afghan nationals have been deported via the Landi Kotal transit camp.
