Iranian Mawakib Long for Pakistani Pilgrims: The Path to Karbala Felt Incomplete Without Pak Pilgrims

Shiite News: Every year, thousands of Pakistani pilgrims pass through Iranian soil on their journey of love toward Karbala.
From the first of Safar until Arbaeen, Iranian believers set up mawakib from the Pakistan border all the way to the Iraq border, serving the visitors of Imam Hussain (AS) with unmatched devotion, turning these stations into shelters of mercy.
This year as well, Iranian hosts opened the doors of their mawakib from the 1st to the 15th of Safar, waiting with anticipation, asking with every passing breeze: “Are the travelers to Karbala arriving?”
But as days passed without the arrival of Pakistani pilgrims, shadows of despair spread. Eventually, the mawakib were folded away, and the hosts themselves departed toward Karbala.
Among these sorrowful stations was the Mawkib of Hazrat Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas (AS) in the city of Bam, where the grief of separation was etched deeply on the faces of the servants.
Their silent expressions spoke volumes, reminding all that the paths of the heart are not bound by borders.
