Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori announces personal supervision of Arbaeen pilgrims issues

Shiite News: Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesori reached the MWM provincial secretariat Wahdat House Soldier Bazaar last night for a follow-up meeting and press conference to resolve the problems of Arbaeen pilgrims, reviewed the progress so far and promised to bring the results to light in the next 48 hours.

During a meeting with Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan Vice Chairman Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi and other leaders, the Sindh Governor announced that he would personally supervise until the problems are completely resolved. Once again, he expressed gratitude to the leader of Wahdat, Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, may God protect him, for his kindness.

Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori said that he wants the problems of the pilgrims to be resolved as soon as possible, the route for the pilgrims has been temporarily closed due to security reasons.

The Sindh Governor, while talking to the media after meeting the MWM leaders, said that it has been decided that the pilgrims should be sent to Iran safely, a committee has been formed regarding air travel.

He said that as soon as the security issues are resolved, the land routes will be restored, and they will also work on the visa issues and other demands of the pilgrims. Even today, I had contacted Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri on the phone from Islamabad on this issue.

He said that there was no talk of closing the route for the pilgrims on a permanent basis, the march was postponed on my request, for which I thank the MWM.

Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori added that a committee has been formed which is working on air tickets and other matters, the results of the committee will start coming in the next 48 hours.

The Sindh Governor said that he will personally monitor all matters until the pilgrims’ problems are completely resolved, he will not back down from this issue even for a moment and will be in constant contact with the MWM.

Allama Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi once again reiterated his resolve that our march had no political purpose, we do not want to hurt anyone nor clash with the government, we have only one goal and that is the attendance of pilgrims at the Imam Hussain Shrine before Arbaeen.

He once again thanked Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori and MQM leader Anis Qaimkhani who are continuously playing an active role in resolving this issue.

On this occasion, central leaders of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan Anis Qaimkhani, Zoheir Abidi, MWM leaders Allama Sadiq Jafri, Allama Tsavoor Ali Mehdi, Yawar Ali Kazmi, Allama Hayat Abbas Najafi, Allama Mubashir Hassan, Razi Haider Rizvi, Zain Raza and others were also present.
