Shiite News: Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan head Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri has completely rejected the restrictions imposed on Arbaeen pilgrims by the government and has announced a grand march from Karachi to Rimdan border with pilgrims.

Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri has said in his statement that Mohsin Naqvi’s decision to stop pilgrims from Arbaeen will not be accepted under any circumstances.

He said that this decision is a clear violation of religious freedom and human rights, which will not be accepted at any cost.

Addressing the lovers of Imam Hussain (a.s.) and pilgrims across the country, he said:

“This is the time to say Labaik Ya Hussain (a.s.), this is the time to stand up against oppression, this is the time to protect the rights of pilgrims. Whatever happens, we will come out, we will give our lives, we will be sacrificed.”

Allama Nasir Abbas Jafri has appealed to all Karbala caravans to reach Karachi and participate fully in this march from Karachi to the Rimdan border under the leadership of Quaid-e-Wahdat.

He directed that all Hussaini caravans complete their preparations and make this march a historic turning point in favor of pilgrims.

It should be noted that the Iranian ambassador has also confirmed that visas will now be issued only at the border, after which a large number of pilgrims are preparing to leave for the border.

This step by the Majlis-e-Wahdat Muslimeen is a peaceful but determined message of resistance against the measures being taken against pilgrims in Pakistan, declaring:

“No restrictions on religious and human rights will be accepted.”
