Closure of land routes unacceptable, government should provide security to pilgrims, Allama Musa Hussaini

Shiite News: Leader of the Majlis Ulema-e-Maktab Ahlul Bayt and a prominent religious scholar of Quetta, Allama Muhammad Musa Hussaini, has expressed concern over the ban on by-road travel of pilgrims going to Karbala in connection with Arbaeen, saying that this route was not closed in the past, it will not be now. The government should provide security.

In his statement, he reacted to the government’s ban on pilgrims going to Iran and Iraq via land routes, saying that the safety of peace and order, property and life in the beloved homeland of Pakistan is the first responsibility of the government.

The ban on pilgrims going to Karbala in connection with Arbaeen has worried millions of devotees living in Pakistan.

He added that we want to make it clear that this route has not been closed in any way in the past, and it will not be now.
