Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League honors Sayyida Zainab (AS) as Model of Endurance and Resolve

Shiite News: The Sayyida Zainab (AS) conference was organized under the auspices of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League in the Central Secretariat Model Town, Lahore.

Nazim-e-Ala Minhaj-ul-Quran Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, while addressing the conference, said that Sayyida Zainab (SA) become an example of patience and perseverance in Karbala, which is a role model for women who will come until the Day of Judgment.

He said that the character of Sayyida Zainab (AS) is an ideal example for every daughter and every sister today.

Head of the Coordination Committee Lubna Mushtaq, while addressing, said that the path to salvation of the Ummah lies in love for the Quran and the Ahlul Bayt (AS).

The status of the pure Ahlul Bayt (AS) is very high. In the Karbala incident, Sayyida Zainab (a.s.) displayed great courage and patience and delivered a sermon against oppression in the court of Yazid.

Director Farid-e-Millat Research Institute Dr. Rana Farooq said in his speech that Sayyida Zainab (a.s.) was a figure of greatness and perseverance.

She became a leaden wall in the face of oppression, standing like an impregnable fortress. He said that love for the Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.) is a commandment of the Quran. Just shouting slogans is not enough, but adopting the character of the Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.) in our practical lives is true love.

Professor Dr. Uzma Zareen said that Sayyida Zainab (a.s.) is the Ghazi of Karbala. Sayyida Zainab (a.s.) stopped the people’s mouths with her truth-telling and courage in the Karbala incident, the Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.) stood firm on the truth and fought against falsehood.

Humaira Bhutto said that the Karbala incident was the most difficult and tumultuous phase of Syeda Zainab’s life, which she faced with unparalleled patience, perseverance and a cheerful face. Her bravery and courage can be gauged from the fact that she raised the banner of truth in the court of Yazid and challenged him.

Jamia Umm al-Kitab Principal Khanum Tayyaba Naqvi said that the courage, wisdom and dignity that Syeda Zainab displayed in the Karbala incident is unparalleled in the history of humanity. Her character does not show weakness or despair at any point until the court of Yazid.

Hafiza Sahar Ambarin said in her address that Syeda Zainab raised the voice of truth against Yazidism with patience and perseverance. Her message became a guarantee for the protection and revival of Islam throughout the world.
