In the meeting of the Milli Yakjehti Council, a representative delegation of Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s party tried hard to make the position of the blasphemy gang part of the statement, but the Shia parties stopped it.

And they took the position that while an abomination like blasphemy is extremely heinous and punishable, the misuse of this law is itself blasphemy.
