MWM expresses solidarity with Gaza, holds anti-Israel protest in Karachi

Shiite News: A protest demonstration was held outside the Khoja Itna Ashri Jamia Masjid Kharadar after Friday prayers by the Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Karachi Division in support of the oppressed people of Gaza and against the usurper Israel, in which worshippers participated in large numbers.

Addressing the protest demonstration, Provincial President Allama Syed Baqir Abbas Zaidi said that the inhuman atrocities against the people of Gaza are still ongoing, after the Israeli bombing, they are now being killed by hunger and famine.

It is the responsibility of the international community, especially the Islamic nations and neighboring countries, to take practical steps to ensure assistance to the oppressed people of Gaza.

He further said that the Muslims of Gaza have been fighting the war of the Islamic world for years. If Israel completely occupies Palestine, then it will also move towards other Islamic countries. Therefore, it is necessary that the Islamic world and Arab countries leave the US side and fully support their Muslim brothers.

The protest was also attended by MWM Karachi Division leader Allama Mubashir Hassan, provincial leader Nasir Al-Hussaini, Palestine Foundation Pakistan General Secretary Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam, Tehreek-e-Bidaari Ummat Muslimah leader Yawar Abbas and other leaders.

The speakers strongly condemned the US threats to force Muslim countries to support the Abraham Accords. The protesters shouted slogans of death to America and Israel, while the American and Israeli flags were burned at the end of the protest.
