Cases registered against mourners on instructions of Takfiri elements, Allama Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi

Shiite News: Vice Chairman Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi has said in his statement that the baseless and unjustified cases filed against mourners during Muharram al-Haram should be immediately canceled.

Mourning Sayyidah al-Shuhada (a.s.) is our worship and we will not accept any kind of restriction or prohibition on it under any circumstances.

False cases based on vengeful and biased thinking were filed against mourning gatherings and mourning processions in Punjab and Sindh.

He further said that the cases have been registered on the instructions of Takfiri elements and the police have harassed innocent mourners without any reason.

He said that these measures are intolerable and against constitutional and religious freedom.

Mourning is our constitutional and fundamental right and we demand from the government officials that all baseless cases filed against mourners should be immediately canceled, the district administrations of Chakwal, Lahore, Multan should immediately declare these cases null and void.
