Protest demonstration against cases filed on mourning in Multan, demand to dismiss cases

Shiite News: Multan Police is continuing to file cases against the organization of mourning gatherings and processions during Muharram.
Mumtazabad Police has arrested three mourners for registering a case.
A peaceful protest demonstration was held in front of Multan Press Club under the auspices of Shian e Haider Karrar against these police measures.
The protest demonstration was led by Allama Qazi Nadir Hussain Alvi, provincial organizer of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen South Punjab.
The protesters demanded action from the Chief Minister of Punjab against these vile tactics of the Multan administration.
The protesters demanded that FIRs against gatherings held inside Chariwari, mosques and Imambargahs are a deviation from the Constitution of Pakistan.
The government should take notice of such measures and immediately issue orders to dismiss the cases.
Maulana Syed Mubashir Hassan, Maulana Ijaz Hussain Beheshti, Syed Ijaz Hussain Shah, Syed Arif Akhtar Kazmi and others were present on the occasion.
