55 cases registered by Yazidi administration in Multan for holding mourning gatherings and processions
Shiite News: During Muharram, more than 55 cases have been registered by the Multan administration in different police stations of the district for holding mourning gatherings and processions without permission and under the pretext of violation of law and order.
There are also 2 Imambargahs where a case has been registered for holding mourning gatherings on a daily basis.
The Multan administration has also registered a case for holding women’s gatherings inside the four walls of the house without permission.
The police stations in which cases have been registered include DHA police station, BZ police station, Alpa police station, New Multan police station, Shah Rukan e Alam police station, Setal Mari police station, Cantt police station, Jalilabad police station, Cantt police station, Delhi Gate police station, City Shujaabad police station, Saddar Shujaabad police station, City Jalalpur police station and Saddar Jalalpur police station.
The public says that on one hand the Chief Minister of Punjab made lofty claims about the facilities provided to the mourners, while on the other hand cases are being registered against the same mourners.
