Chairman of Sunni Ittehad Council Pakistan Sahibzada Hamid Raza has announced to start a campaign “Save National Action Plan, exterminate terrorism, eradicate corruption”. He said that the whole nation wants accountability of looters of national wealth and they will not compromise on Karachi operation and accountability process. Accountability process should also be started in Punjab. Why no action is taken upon links of Muslim League (N)’s ministers with terrorists. Politicians should not make the campaign against corruption dubious, tha nation is satisfied with army’s efforts against corruption. He further said that the politics of Muhajir card and Sindh car is not going to work anymore. He also demanded that legal action should be taken against Rana Mashood and declared not to take part in by-elections till the resignations of all four provincial election commissioners. People should refrain from politicizing this campaign against corruption because this is in national interest. An action plan and a strong system is needed against corruption and the area of National Action Plan should be broaden, in national interest, to include corruption cases. The current system of accountability is inefficient and useless and corruption could not be completely eradicated without a strong accountability system.
