Karbala reminds us the pledge of unity and resistance, Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas

Shiite News: On the beginning of Muharram 1447 AH, Chairman Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan, Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari has issued a message to the nation.

He said that the moon of Muharram 1447 AH once again reminds us of the eternal message of Karbala that the grandson of the Prophet, Sayyid al-Shuhada Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) presented to protect truth, justice and humanity against oppression, fascism and tyrants. Karbala is not just a historical event, but a shining standard between the oppressed and oppressor of every era.

He said that today, when the Muslim Ummah is facing trials, aggression and sectarianism all over the world, Muharram invites us to put aside our petty differences and pledge unity and consensus, patience and perseverance, and a joint struggle against the oppressor.

Senator Raja Nasir Abbas said that Karbala taught us that raising our voice against oppression, no matter what form it takes, is a requirement of faith. And also that the survival of the nation lies in unity and mutual respect.

The enemies of Islam want to confuse us with sectarianism, linguistics and prejudice to weaken the Ummah, but the message of Imam Hussain (AS) is that the strength of the Ummah lies in its unity.

He appealed to the Muslim Ummah to pledge on this Muharram to:Avoid insulting any sect, school or belief;Maintain the sanctity of mosques, Imambargahs and places of worship;

Let us be united in support of the oppressed of the world, especially Palestine, Lebanon, Kashmir, Yemen and oppressed Muslims around the world;

Let us not let the unity of the Ummah be shattered in the face of the forces hostile to Islam.

Senator Raja Nasser Abbas Jafri finally prayed that God may bring this Muharram al-Haram to the Muslim Ummah a message of awakening, unity, support for the truth and the downfall of the oppressors.
