Death Anniversary of Allama Mufti Ja’afar Hussain is being celebrated today.

Founder of Tehreek e Jafaria Pakistan Mufti Ja’afar Hussain’s 31st death anniversary is being celebrated today. Seminars and conferences will be held in different cities by Shia Ulema Council, Islami Tehreek, Ja’afaria Students Organization and other parties in order to pay homage to late leader of Millat e Ja’afaria for his religious and national services. Allama Sajid Naqvi, Liaqat Baloch, Moulana Waqar al Hussnain Naqvi, Moulana Mushtaq Hamdani, Moulana Hassan Raza Qumi, Sehbaz Haier Naqvi and other leaders will address a session that has been arranged by Tanzeem e Shia Sheharyan Lahore, on this occasion. It should be clear that it was Mufti Ja’afar Hussain who translated Hazrat Ali (as)’s famous book Nehjul Balagha. He was also the principle of Jama’a Ja’afaria G.T. road Gujaranwala.

Senior religious scholar Mufti Ja’afar Hussain, who ed a simple life, initiated a campaign during Zia ul Haq’s era on the issue of Zaka’at and other religious issues and also laid the foundations of Tehreek e Nifaz e Fiqh e Ja’afaria in order to pressurize the government to include Ahl e Bait’s teachings in its policy of enforcing and implementing Islam in the country. Allam Arif Hussain al Hussaini was selected as Qaaid e Millat e Ja’afaria in February 1984 after Mufti Ja’afar Hussain’s death on 30th August 1983. After Allama Arif Hussain’s martyrdom on 5th August 1988, at Ja’ama Ma’arif al Islamia Peshawar, the then senior vice president of Tehreek e Ja’afaria Allama Sajid Naqvi was selected as Qaaid e Millat e Jafaria.
