Shia parties back Shia Ulema Council sitin protest against Shiite genocide

suc pressMajlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, Shia Legal Aid Committee, Shia Action Committee, Imamia Students Organization, Pasban-e-Aza and other groups have announced their all out support to the call of Shia Ulema Council to observe Friday (14th December) as Youm-e-Istighasa (sit-in) to protest against Shia genocide.

“Main protest will be held on M.A. Jinnah Road where a sit-in will be staged to press the government to take action against terrorists,” said Allama Nazir Abbas Taqvi, provincial chapter’s chief of SUC speaking at a press conference on Wednesday.

Maulana Sadiq Raza Taqvi of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, Tasawwur Advocate of Jafaria Legal Aid Committee, Molana Mirza Yousuf Hussain of Shia Action Committee, SM Naqvi of Markazi Tanzeem-e-Aza and other representatives also spoke at joint press conference. They said they have joined hands for a common cause.

“We want to register a peaceful but stiff protest. We shall jam whole of Sindh province if government impedes our protest,” he warned.

Allama Taqvi said that government has completely failed to secure lives and properties of Shiites across Pakistan. He said that takfiri nasbi terrorists massacre Shiites at will. He said that Shiites would not tolerate their genocide any more.

He said that it was obligatory on the government and security agencies to play their due and active role against the terrorists. He urged the judiciary to award capital punishment to the takfiri nasbi terrorists.
