All Muslim countries must unite and give a befitting reply to Israel, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif

Shiite News: Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif made a passionate and emotional speech on the national and global situation and appealed to the Muslim world to wake up during the Parliament Session.

Khawaja Asif began his speech by condemning Israel’s attack on Iran last night. He said that at present there is an open war going on between Iran and Israel, and Iran is not only our neighbor but also has a relationship of centuries-old relations, brotherhood, history and culture.

He said in clear words that Israel is currently continuously targeting Yemen, Iran and Palestine. ‘If the Muslim world does not unite today, remember, tomorrow it will be everyone’s turn.’ The Defense Minister, while demanding an emergency meeting of the OIC, said that ‘all Muslim countries must unite and give a befitting reply to Israel.’

He said that now not only the Muslim world but also the people of the Western world are openly raising their voices against Israel. He said that ‘the consciences of the non-Muslim world have awakened, but unfortunately, the Muslim rulers are still in a dream.’

The Defense Minister also took a dig at India in his address. He said that ‘India attacked us and it had to pay a heavy price for it. Not only was its forces humiliated, but its global image was also ruined.’

Khawaja Asif claimed that ‘we have defeated an enemy five times bigger than us. The strength of our forces and the solidarity of the people exposed the enemy.

He further revealed on the Israeli attack that Iran’s military installations were targeted and its leadership was martyred. ‘But Israel is not alone in all this, it has the backing of world powers.’

He said that those countries of the Islamic world that have diplomatic or trade relations with Israel should immediately sever these relations. ‘Israel’s hands are stained with the blood of Muslims, such hands should be shaken instead of held.’

Khawaja Asif said in unequivocal terms that ‘Pakistan still stands by its principled position. It has neither recognized Israel nor established relations.’

Mentioning the people of Pakistani origin who went to Israel, he said, ‘Some people have gone to Israel in the past years, with whose help they went, I do not want to go into details. But Pakistan’s state position has never changed. We stand with Iran at every level.’

The Defense Minister said that the Iranians are our brothers, their pain, sorrow and grief are our common pain. ‘We will protect Iranian interests and continue to support them at every global forum.’

Referring to the “Banyan Marsus” alliance, he said that it has brought many benefits to Pakistan, and the country’s prestige has increased at the global level.

In his speech, Khawaja Asif once again referred to the “Abhinandan” incident and said that ‘when the Indian pilot was captured, a meeting was held in Committee Room No. 2 for an hour and a half. Consultations continued between the then Prime Minister and the Army Chief, but finally we sent the enemy back.’

He said that ‘This was the moment when there were talks of shaking the House. This is history, of which we are still ashamed today. Even then, the Pakistan Air Force had defeated India, but the weakness of the political leadership damaged the national prestige.

Khawaja Asif said, “I saw the situation of both the periods myself, I also saw the courage of the then Prime Minister and the Army Chief and also of today’s leadership. India attacked Pakistan and it was given a befitting reply. At no stage did it even cross anyone’s mind that they would compromise on national prestige.”

He praised the courage of the Pakistani forces and said, “The courage of our forces was unparalleled. After a long period, confidence was restored in the state, the people’s confidence was restored that their protectors are brave and courageous.”

The Defense Minister paid tribute to the performance of the Air Force and said, “The Air Force did a great job, those who attacked also got up in awe. We will be proud of this historic victory until the end of time.’

Khawaja Asif said that the Finance Minister presented the best budget, the people are not feeling the cold air completely, they are still in problems today, but we are coming out of these problems, there will be a better economy in the next few months or years.
