Arrival of Muharram, Allama Maqsood Domki meets DC Jacobabad with delegation
Shiite News: Allama Maqsood Ali Domki, the central leader of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan, along with a high-level delegation, met with Deputy Commissioner Jacobabad Nawab Sameer Hussain Leghari in his office.
The meeting discussed the law and order situation in the district, the arrival of Muharram and the security arrangements for the mourning gatherings. The deteriorating law and order situation in Jacobabad district is worrying.
Effective security measures are essential before the month of Muharram so that the public, especially the mourners, feel safe. Volunteers and scouts will cooperate fully with the police and rangers in the mourning programs as usual.
The program for scouts at the police headquarters, as usual, should be supervised by the police this year as well, like every year. The deployment of ladies police should be ensured for security in women’s mourning gatherings.
The police department should recruit more lady constables so that effective security can be provided in women’s gatherings.
There was a written promise of the former deputy commissioner regarding the shrine of Imam Hussain (AS), it should be implemented.
Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen believes in full cooperation with the district administration and the police. Establishing peace is the common responsibility of all of us.
Deputy Commissioner Nawab Sameer Hussain Leghari said that mutual cooperation between the district administration and the public is the guarantee of peace and order in the district.
All officials at the tehsil and sub-division levels have been instructed to maintain constant contact with the founders of the gatherings, mourners and religious organizations.
The administration will fully cooperate with the mourners to ensure security and other arrangements for the mourning gatherings.
