Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif arrives in Azerbaijan after visiting Iran

Shiite News: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has arrived in Azerbaijan after completing his visit to Iran.

The Azerbaijani Foreign Minister and the Pakistani Ambassador welcomed Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif at the airport in Lachin city, Azerbaijan.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Information Ata Tarar and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi are also accompanying him.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has arrived in Lachin city to attend the trilateral meeting of Pakistan, Turkey and Azerbaijan.

The Prime Minister will also meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

Officials say that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will go to Tajikistan after his visit to Azerbaijan.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif completed his visit to Iran, during which the Prime Minister met with Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and President Masoud Pezzekiyan, among other high-ranking officials.

During the meetings between the Prime Minister and Iranian leaders, discussions were held on promoting Pakistan-Iran relations, especially trade and regional ties,

While Iran’s efforts during the war imposed on Pakistan by India were appreciated.

In addition, the meetings discussed strengthening strategic relations and immediately stopping the ongoing Zionist atrocities in Gaza.
