Shiite News: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, while holding a joint press conference with Iranian President Dr. Masoud Peshkeshian in Tehran, said that we consider Iran as our second home.

Constructive and fruitful talks have been held with the Iranian President, in which all aspects of mutual interest and cooperation were discussed.

In the mutual talks, it was agreed to promote cooperation in all sectors, including trade and investment, between the two brotherly countries.

Pakistan and Iran have deep cultural and historical ties and have decided to expand these ties to various areas of life in the interests of both countries.

I thank Iranian President for calling me a few weeks ago and expressing his deep concern about the situation in the region and his brotherly feelings for the people of Pakistan and his wish that this crisis should end before it becomes serious.

By the grace of God, Pakistan emerged victorious from this crisis thanks to the bravery of our forces and the unparalleled support of its people for the forces.

We wanted peace in the region, we want peace and will continue to strive for peace through dialogue.

We want to resolve all disputes, including the Kashmir issue and the water issue, through dialogue and are ready to talk to our neighbor on trade and counter-terrorism.

But if India wants to maintain its aggressive attitude, then we will defend our motherland, as we did a few days ago by the grace of God.

The Prime Minister said that if India accepts our peace offer, then we will show that we sincerely want peace.

We strongly condemn the ongoing atrocities in Gaza, where more than 50,000 Muslims have been martyred.

It is time for the international community to use its influence for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.

The people of Pakistan stand with their Iranian brothers and Pakistan supports Iran’s nuclear program for public and peaceful purposes.
