Training workshops are essential for effective management of mosques, say scholars
Shiite News: An eight-day Mosque Management workshop was organized at the Hawza Ilmia Jamiat-e-Mustafa Lahore under the auspices of the Majlis Ulema Maktaba-e-Ahlul-Bayt (AS) Punjab.
The workshop trained participants on various topics and detailed sessions were held on the effective and efficient management system of mosques.
The scholars and administrators who participated in the closing ceremony of the workshop were awarded certificates and prizes. The ceremony was specially attended by the President of the Council of Ulema of the School of Ahlul Bayt (AS) Punjab, Maulana Gulzar Hussain Fayyazi, Chairman of Jamiat al-Mustafa, Allama Hujjatul Islam wal-Muslimeen Syed Hussain al-Najafi, Allama Muhammad Khan Mahdavi, Allama Syed Taslim Abbas Kazmi, Allama Akram Hussain, Allama Nazim Raza Atrati, Dr. Syed Khawar Abbas Kazmi, Allama Syed Bashir Hussain Najafi and other scholars.
The scholars, while highlighting the importance of the workshop, said that such training workshops are the need of the hour so that mosques can be run effectively as religious, educational and social centers. While distributing certificates to the participants, the scholars emphasized on the continuity of the training.
