MWM to hold provincial education conference on June 18 in Lahore

Shiite News: The Curriculum Council of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen has announced the holding of a provincial education conference in Lahore on June 18.

Today, an online meeting of the Curriculum Council of MWM was held under the chairmanship of Convener Allama Maqsood Ali Domki.

The meeting took a detailed review of the previous programs and consulted on the annual program including the plan for the next four months.

Allama Maqsood Ali Domki announced that a grand education conference will be held in Lahore on June 18 at the provincial level of Punjab.

In which educationists, scholars, great scholars, representatives of national organizations, lawyers and prominent personalities from different walks of life will participate.

We want to move forward on the sensitive issue of curriculum through a broader national consultation, so that a coordinated action plan can be formulated in the light of the opinions of national parties, organizations, scholars and educationists.

The historic struggle for curriculum of Allama Mufti Jafar Hussain and Allama Syed Muhammad Dehlvi will never be allowed to go to waste.

Provincial curriculum conferences will be held in every provincial capital and curriculum councils will be formed at the provincial level, so that coordinated and systematic work can be done for educational reforms at the national level.

We will take effective action against the serious errors in the textbook board and in this regard, we have formally presented our position with arguments to the Provincial Education Secretary Punjab.

We will make every effort to reform the curriculum and eliminate the ideological and historical errors in it.
