Shiite News: Chairman Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri has said in his message on the occasion of International Labor Day that protecting the honor and dignity of laborers is the duty of all of us.

The laborer is a friend of Allah, whose fair compensation for his labor must be paid on time, the economic development and prosperity of the dear country is not possible without the tireless efforts of the workers.

Even today a large number of workers in the dear country are forced to work in exploitation, forced labor and dangerous conditions, governments cannot implement their own announced minimum monthly wage policy.
Today those who do not understand the difficulties of the farmers are pushing the dear country into an economic quagmire, a solid strategy should be adopted to respond to the exploitative tactics of the capitalists on the workers, the protection of the rights of our workers in foreign countries should be ensured and their problems should be resolved.

He said that it is the need of the hour that Labor Day should be celebrated as a commitment to practical measures.

Unfortunately, the system of checks and balances does not exist in the country at all. The laboring class is the most affected by inflation. Whenever a new government comes, the rights of laborers are not included in its priorities.

Our trade unions have been greatly weakened. Democracy is not strong in Pakistan. Whenever a dictator or a government based on dictatorial thinking comes, it attacks labor and trade unions. These capitalists have nothing to do with the problems of the workers.

The workers are demanding that all political parties play their role in parliament in the light of the constitution and adopt a common strategy to provide justice to the workers, so that the writ of justice can be established in institutions across the country.
