MWM stands with the people of Sindh, Allama Maqsood Ali Domki

Shiite News: Central leader of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan, Allama Maqsood Ali Domki, has said that water is life and its fair distribution is the fundamental right of every human being.

He said that the construction of new canals in violation of the 1991 Water Distribution Agreement is condemnable and the people of Sindh will not accept it under any circumstances.

He expressed these views while addressing a protest sit-in of lawyers and the conscious people of Sindh against the construction of illegal canals on the Indus River at Bablu Bypass.

Allama Maqsood Ali Domki said that Majlis-e-Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan and its brave leader Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri stand shoulder to shoulder with the oppressed people of Sindh.

He assured that we will fully defend the right of the people of Sindh to water.

He said that those who rob the water of Sindh and turn it into Karbala should hear that the Hussaini of Sindh know how to defend their river.

The MWM leader further said that a vast area of Sindh is suffering from severe water shortage, and the forced construction of illegal canals is a blatant abuse.

This atrocity against Sindh and Balochistan is actually weakening the federation.

He said that the people of Sindh have given their clear referendum that they are not ready to accept any coercion, oppression and unconstitutional decision.

Majlis-e-Wahdat Muslimeen stands by the people of Sindh and will continue to participate on every front in the struggle for their legitimate rights.
