How to establish peace in Kurram, elders discuss

Shiite News: An important seminar on how to establish sustainable and lasting peace and order in Kurram District was held at the office of Majlis Ulema Ahlul Bayt (AS).

This purposeful and intellectual session was attended by distinguished personalities from different walks of life of the district, including scholars, teachers, doctors, social workers and Additional Deputy Commissioner.

The aim of the seminar was to review the ongoing peace efforts in the area and prepare a joint action plan to lay the foundation for lasting and stable peace in the future.

Addressing the seminar, the speakers shed light on the current situation in Kurram District and presented their valuable suggestions for sustainable peace and stability.

The scholars termed religious harmony, brotherhood and interfaith unity as the foundation of peace, while the teachers and educationists termed intellectual guidance of the younger generation and improvement in the field of education as key factors for sustainable peace.

Doctors and other professional experts also termed social welfare, health and psychological peace as important in building a safe society.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner, while shedding light on the steps taken by the government, said that the district administration will take all possible steps to establish peace and order and is trying to bring all classes together.

At the end of the seminar, it was resolved that all sectors must work together under a common strategy to establish lasting peace in Kurram district so that future generations can grow up in a peaceful and prosperous environment.
