Pakistani media and cultural figures hold important meeting with Iranian officials in Mashhad

Shiite News: Pakistani cultural and media figures residing in the holy city of Mashhad, Iran, met with the Director General of Mashhad Municipal Public Relations and International Affairs, Syed Mohammad Mushtaqian. The purpose of the meeting was to promote cultural and media relations between Iran and Pakistan.

While welcoming the guests, Syed Mohammad Mushtaqian said that Iran and Pakistan are neighboring and friendly Muslim countries between which cultural relations have a special importance.

Media and cultural workers of both countries can play a key role in bringing the people closer to each other and spreading the message of friendship.

During the meeting, a Pakistani poet of the Ahl al-Bayt residing in Mashhad was presented with an honorary certificate.

The participants of the session emphasized the need to further strengthen institutional linkages through media and cultural activities.
