Allama Shahenshah Naqvi’s wisdom defeated hatred

Shiite News: A podcast interview of renowned religious scholar and preacher of Ahlul Bayt (AS) Allama Syed Shahenshah Hussain Naqvi has become a topic of discussion on social media these days.

While a few people are criticizing his answers, the majority, including Sunni social media users, are seen praising his responsiveness and tolerance.

A few days ago, renowned Pakistani journalist and analyst Irshad Bhatti did a podcast with Allama Shahenshah Hussain Naqvi for his private YouTube channel, in which most of the questions were based on sectarian hatred and provocation. Most of the questions were of a debate-like nature.

Some of the questions were such that if Allama Shahanshah Naqvi had been replaced by a scholar or mufti of another sect, it would have become a firestorm in minutes and the program would have ended without any result.

A Sunni social media user named Farooq Naqshbandi, who belongs to the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Samiul Haq group, wrote on his Facebook account:
“Don’t Shia scholars get angry? How much control do these people have over their souls. I have gone into depression after seeing their morals and civilization.”

He further wrote:
“Social media has introduced us to them, otherwise my father used to say that it is forbidden to sit, eat and drink with Shias. We have only Maulana Tariq Jameel Sahib and Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri who are the masters of this decency and love, but we have made both of them controversial.”

A Shia user wrote on social media that Allama Shahenshah Naqvi was well aware that he had a heavy responsibility to represent the school of Ahlul Bayt (a.s.).

He invited not only his own people but also people of other schools of thought living in this country to think.

Such people who are fiery, argumentative, insult others and show off, in fact reflect their inner intentions and the forces behind them, which are working with them.

On the contrary, those whose language is polite, their behavior is pure, and their behavior is civilized, they do not keep their own identity but the honor of their school and nation before the world.

They speak even in silence, and their simplicity also has a message. As the advice of the Ahlul Bayt (a.s.) themselves is:
“Be a source of adornment for us, not a source of shame and disgrace.”

A social media user wrote that Irshad Bhatti is a sharp-tongued and smooth-talking journalist of the country’s current politics, who knows how to bash corrupt politicians. But religious, sectarian and sectarian issues are not his field.

Therefore, it is 100 percent certain that he is working on some conspiratorial assignment and these bitter questions have been written by some scheming Takfiri mullah.

Since we are advocates of inter-Muslim unity, we have to speak very carefully in such a media environment.

These questions are presented in a debate-like manner in our Shia congregations in Imambargahs, but this is not possible in the media.

Otherwise, the entire country could have caught fire in five minutes, which seems to be the main purpose of this program, to divert attention from an oppressed issue like Palestine and confuse the Ummah in an unnecessary debate.
