MWM Intra-Party Election: Who is the expected candidate for the chairman’s chair?

Shiite News: The central convention and intra-party election to elect the new chairperson of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan will be held in Islamabad on April 20.

According to sources, the central general assembly meeting of MWM is held in Islamabad every year in April, while intra-party elections to elect the party chairman are held every three years.

At the end of the organizational period 2022 to 2025, MWM district office bearers and central leaders from across the country are gathering in Islamabad to begin the new session and elect the new party leadership, where the meeting will be held from April 18 to 20.

In addition to the presentation of organizational performance reports, the approval of constitutional amendments, examinations of questions based on organizational literature including Quranic, ruling and belief books will be held, a mourning conference, Karbala-e-Asr Palestine Conference, and the Stability of Pakistan Conference will be held, while the election of a new party chairman will also be held on the last day.

According to Shiite News sources, the current chairman Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri is facing a tough competition in this intra-party election.

Sources say that Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri will be opposed by the current chairman Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi, renowned religious leaders of Gilgit-Baltistan and every dear personality Agha Ali Rizvi.

The candidate who gets 51 percent of the votes will be declared successful and will take over the reins of MWM for the next three years.
