US should recognize Iran’s sovereignty, Allama Sajid Naqvi

Shiite News: Head of the Shia Ulema Council of Pakistan, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, has said that Iran-US talks will prove important for world peace when these talks are held on an equal footing without any pressure.

America should come out of its self-imposed addiction to being a superpower and recognize Iran’s sovereignty.

The threat of bombing Iran before negotiations is tantamount to attacking Iran’s sovereignty, which the international community should have taken notice of.

Agreements between countries, if made on an equal footing and not through pressure, are long-lasting and welcome for world peace.

But America, in the intoxication of being a superpower, is putting world peace at risk by adopting a hostile attitude towards some countries of the world.

By backing Israel, America has already pushed the world into war, and now by adopting such a hostile attitude towards Islamic countries, it is pushing the world into a new world war.

Israel is pressuring the Islamic country of Iran through America not to acquire nuclear energy, while on the other hand it hopes that Pakistan, another Islamic country with nuclear energy, will recognize it.

America and Israel have been exposed to the world with this open contradiction.

He expressed hope that the Iran-America talks will completely end the anti-Iran propaganda of Israel and America and Iran will maintain its sovereignty in its own affairs.
