Shiite News: Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan Vice Chairman Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi and General Secretary Syed Nasir Abbas Shirazi, Allama Abdul Khaq Asadi, Syed Asad Abbas Naqvi, Malik Iqrar Hussain Alvi, Syed Zahid Kazmi, Salim Abbas Siddiqui, Allama Zeigham Abbas and Asif Raza talked to media about the organizational central convention, intra-party elections and the eight-month siege of Parachinar.

Addressing the press conference, Central General Secretary Syed Nasir Abbas Shirazi said that Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan, which is a party registered with the Election Commission, is holding its 16th central convention in which intra-party elections will be held on Saturday, April 19 and a new party chairman will be elected for the next three years.

We invite all media representatives to come and be observers of the transparency of the intra-party elections.

Intra-party elections are a constitutional requirement of the party and the Election Commission.

An election will be held in Islamabad on April 19 for the central chairman. Three names will be presented and elections will be held on them.

Workers from all four provinces, including Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, will participate in the voting. 51% votes will be required to win. The name of the new chairman will be announced on April 20.

A mourning conference will also be held in the central convention in which the martyrs of Islam and resistance and the martyrs of Parachinar will be discussed, from which Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, Allama Syed Ali Raza Rizvi and other scholars will address the gathering.

On the last day of the convention, on Sunday, April 20, a Pakistan Stability Conference will be held, in which the newly elected chairman and other central leaders of religious and political parties will address.

Vice Chairman Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi, while talking to media representatives, said that Parachinar is the most sensitive area of Pakistan in terms of defense.

The people of Parachinar are loyal, highly conscious and civilized citizens of the country. Despite all the difficulties and serious situation, the patriotic citizens here have never taken any action against the law.

It has been eight months but it is a sad situation that the roads could not be opened. All the security agencies, including the provincial and federal governments, have completely failed to open the roads.

The Prime Minister, the Interior Minister, the Chief Justice and the Chief Minister have created a clear picture of helplessness and indifference regarding the closure of the roads in Parachinar.

The forced people of Parachinar cannot leave their homes for other cities. We demand that the government and law and order agencies provide security to the people.

The air ambulance service should be restored immediately and the airport should be made functional as soon as possible.

The jobs of 3500 citizens are at stake. Schools are closed due to lack of fuel and crops cannot be cultivated.

When the federal government and security forces take swift action on the insecurity in Balochistan, the citizens of Parachinar are not residents of this country.

After all, why are all the state officials silent on this issue? Isn’t all this a contradiction?
