Nation to celebrate 69th Independence day with zeal

The nation will celebrate 69th Independence Day across the country tomorrow (Friday) with full zeal and enthusiasm.

The day will start with special prayers at all mosques for national solidarity, peace and fraternity. The day will follow by a salute of thirty-one gun in the federal and twenty one gun salute in provincial capitals. The flag hoisting ceremonies would be held at all four provinces.

The main event of the day will be a flag hoisting ceremony at Convention Center in Islamabad, where Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif will be the chief guest. It will be followed by the address of the Prime Minister to the nation. A firework would also be held sharp at 12:00 am tonight to start the day.

Different universities and colleges would hold special events including seminars, conferences, lectures, debates, speech contests, exhibitions, quiz competitions, stage dramas and poetry competitions.

The Shiite Organizations including Majls-e-Wedhatul Muslimeen (MWM), Imamia Students Organization, and others also plan to celebrate the 69th Independence Day of our beloved country Pakistan across the Country. The Central Azadi festival of MWM will hold on Tonight ( 13th August ) outside the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah to celebrate the national independence day. However the party plan to celebrate this day across the country including the violent-hit Balochistan province and tribal areas of the country where Takfiri terrorists try to sabotage the writ of Pakistan.
