SUC holds important meeting with Federal Minister for Religious Affairs

Shiite News: Shia Ulema Council Pakistan Central Secretary General Allama Dr. Shabbir Hassan Maysami and Central Secretary for Information Zahid Ali Akhunzada met Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf and discussed matters related to Hajj and pilgrimages.

In this meeting, the Federal Minister was informed about some public issues related to Hajj, Umrah and pilgrimages and an appeal was made to resolve these issues and provide facilities to the pilgrims before Hajj, Muharram and Arbaeen.

Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousuf informed about the government’s efforts to resolve the issues faced by pilgrims during Hajj and pilgrimage and assured that better facilities will be provided to the people during Hajj and pilgrimage this year through mutual efforts.

The Federal Minister also called mutual efforts important for unity among Muslims across the country.

Central Secretary General Allama Dr. Shabbir Hassan Maysami informed him about the ongoing steps taken by the Shia Ulema Council of Pakistan under the leadership of the founder of Ittehad-e-Ummat, Quaid-e-Millat Jafariya Pakistan, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, for unity among Muslims across the country and called mutual efforts for unity among Muslims an important need of the hour.
