MWM hold Rallies across country on Jannat-ul-Baqi Demolition Day

Shiite News: Jannat-ul-Baqi Demolition Day was celebrated across the country today on 8 Shawwal under the auspices of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan.

Like in different cities of the country, protest demonstrations and rallies were held in various districts of southern Punjab including Multan, Rahim Yar Khan, Deir Ghazi Khan, Layyah, Bhakkar and Khanewal on the occasion of Jannat-ul-Baqi Demolition Day.

Provincial President of MWM Mourning Wing, Engineer Meher Sakhawat Ali Sial, has said that like every year, this year too, Jannatul Baqi Demolition Day was celebrated across the country.

The biggest protest rally in South Punjab was taken out from Chowk Ghanta Ghar to Multan Press Club.

The protest rally was addressed by scholars, preachers, civil society, political and social figures.

He said that we demand that the graves of the holy Imams, companions and wives of the Holy Prophet in Jannatul Baqi be rebuilt.
