Shiite News: An important meeting of the Central Curriculum Committee of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan was held under the chairmanship of Allama Maqsood Ali Domki.

The committee rejected the current controversial curriculum and demanded the implementation of a unified national curriculum on the lines of 1975.

In the meeting, Allama Domki said that Pakistan’s seventy million Shias have rejected the current Takfiri curriculum. He alleged that the Shia perspective has been deliberately ignored in the Islamic curriculum.

The committee decided that an awareness campaign regarding the curriculum will be launched after Eid. A handbill will be published in the MWM central convention in which the perspective of the Jafariya sect will be clarified.

The meeting also offered Fateha on the death of prominent religious scholar Allama Qazi Shabbir Hussain Alvi and paid tribute to his services.
