MWM holds important meeting of Central Curriculum Committee
Shiite News: An important meeting of the Central Curriculum Committee of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan was held under the chairmanship of the head of the committee, Allama Maqsood Ali Domki.
The meeting was attended by Central Secretary Education Syed Najeeb Naqvi, Member of the Curriculum Committee Syed Ibn Hassan Ghulam Hussain Alvi, Member of the Muttahida Ulema Board Punjab Allama Syed Hassan Hamdani and Allama Qazi Nader Hussain Alvi.
Allama Maqsood Ali Domki said that seven crore Shiites of Pakistan have rejected the current controversial curriculum.
The Shia perspective was deliberately ignored in the curriculum, and in the name of curriculum education and Islamic studies, elements with Takfiri and Nasibi thinking have betrayed Islam and the Muslim Ummah by including the enemies of Ahlulbayt among the famous figures of Islam.
Millions of Sunnis in Pakistan, lovers of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and the Ahlul Bayt of the Prophet (peace be upon him), also consider the current Takfiri curriculum controversial.
We demand that the government review the current controversial curriculum and formulate a unified national curriculum on the model of the 1975 curriculum. Scholars and scholars of all schools of thought agree.
It was decided in the meeting that a meeting of the Curriculum Committee will be held after Eid to decide on the next course of action regarding the curriculum.
An awareness campaign will be launched for the public and the elite regarding the controversial curriculum.
A handbook on the curriculum will be published on the occasion of the MWM central convention and a briefing will be given to scholars and personalities from across the country.
In which the objectionable points of the controversial curriculum will be clarified, explaining the point of view of the Millat e Jafariya.
