The martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (AS) is the greatest tragedy in history, Allama Syed Sajid Naqvi
Shiite News: Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, in his message on the occasion of the martyrdom of the Commander of the Faithful, Hazrat Ali (AS), said: The martyrdom of Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS) is a great tragedy in history after the death of the Prophet (PBUH).
He said: After the blow of Ibn Muljam on the 19th of Ramadan, this voice was heard between the heavens and the earth: “By God, the pillars of guidance have fallen.”
This incident teaches us that the struggle for the sacred mission should continue, even if it means sacrificing one’s life. Along with this, we should also pay attention to what was the mission of the martyred personality so that we can fight to keep him alive.
The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had said, “O Ali! I have fought for the revelation, you will fight for the preservation.” The mission of Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) was to preserve and explain the teachings of the Quran and to implement a just system at all levels.
Allama Sajid Naqvi further said that the solution to Pakistan’s problems also lies in a transparent, fair and just system of government, in which, by utilizing the principles of the exemplary era of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), the name and trace of oppression is erased, injustice and encroachment are eliminated, all citizens are provided with their basic rights, class division and discrimination are eliminated, unity, brotherhood and tolerance are demonstrated in practice, extremism, sectarianism, fanaticism and sectarian hatred do not exist anymore, peace and prosperity prevail, the economic system is worthy of imitation and the social level is raised to such an extent through Amr bil Ma’ruf and Nahi an al-Munkar that other societies of the world consider it an honor to follow it.
