Renowned Pakistani Mujtahid Ayatollah Sheikh Hasnain Najafi passes away in Qom
Shiite News: Renowned Mujtahid Ayatollah Sheikh Hasnain Shabani al-Najafi from Baltistan has passed away in Qom today.
He belonged to the village of Barulmo in Kharmang district, located at the junction of Kargil and Baltistan.
His father, Sheikh Ali Barulmo, was a great scholar of his time whose religious services are well known.
His shrine is a place of worship on the border of Kargil, from where the border of Pakistan and India and the movement of soldiers are clearly visible.
The late Ayatollah Hasnain Najafi had Indian citizenship because during the 1971 war, he had visited a nearby village which was occupied by India overnight and the residents of that village had converted from Pakistani to Indian overnight.
From there, he went to Najaf Ashraf for education and established his academic position there and never returned to his homeland again.
During the last period of Saddam, he had to leave Najaf and settled in Qom.
In Iran and Iraq, where people from specific regions have been turning to their regional sources, he remained unknown.
He avoided highlighting himself due to piety, piety and humility and lived a simple life until the end.
He had a Quranic methodology in jurisprudence.
May Allah Almighty forgive him, have mercy on him and gather him with Muhammad and the family of Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Ayatollah
