Pakistani army’s successful operation against banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi terrorists
Shiite News: The Pakistani army’s Public Relations Department (ISPR) has claimed that security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Sararogha area of South Waziristan on information about the presence of banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi terrorists.
During the operation, security personnel effectively targeted the terrorists’ hideout, resulting in the killing of 30 terrorists. These terrorists belonged to the banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and Sipah-e-Sahaba.
The Pakistani army says that a sanitization operation was also carried out in the area to eliminate any potential terrorists.
On February 13, security forces killed 13 terrorists in five separate operations in areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
It should be noted that five security personnel were killed while trying to rescue an aid convoy after militants attacked them in Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa the previous day.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government had announced a new operation against militants in Kurram on Monday after five security personnel were killed in multiple attacks.
