Shiite News: A report issued by the United Nations said that ISIS members involved in the attack in the Iranian city of Kerman in January last year were arrested by Pakistani intelligence forces last summer.

The report said that Afghan citizen Adil Panjshiri, Tajik citizen Abu Munzer and Uzbek citizen Kaka Yunus are three key elements of ISIS who tried to establish a foreign branch of the group inside Pakistan, but this plan failed after the action of Pakistani intelligence agencies.

ISIS elements arrested in Pakistan were directly involved in planning and facilitating terrorist attacks in Kerman city and one of them is also the mastermind of the Kerman attack.

On January 3, 2024, 97 people were martyred and 280 injured in terrorist explosions in the Gulzar Shuhada area of Kerman on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the martyrdom of General Hajj Qasem Soleimani.
