Shiite News: After a short-term ceasefire in Kurram district, the situation started deteriorating again. Despite the peace agreement and increased security, the incidents of firing by Takfiri terrorists are continuously increasing.

Armed men attacked the Tut Piala area of Lower Kurram with heavy and automatic weapons. In retaliation, the armed men fled leaving behind rockets, shells, petrol and other weapons.

According to the police, the funeral prayer of the police officer who was martyred in the firing yesterday in Bushehr was offered at the police line. A police squad offered a salute to martyr Syed Ashiq Hussain. The martyred police officer will be buried with official honors in his native village Noorki.

Policeman Syed Ashiq Hussain was shot dead by a sniper from a distance after a ceasefire in Bushehr yesterday. Two of the martyr’s brothers have also been martyred in terrorist incidents before, while Assistant Commissioner Revenue Saeed Manan was also injured in the attack.

Provincial Assembly Member Ali Hadi Irfani has said that the problems of the people are increasing due to repeated violations of the peace agreement.

The government should take action against those responsible for disturbing peace by establishing its writ. Instead of blaming the people for the two percent of the terrorists, notice should be taken of the violations of the peace agreement. They want to push the besieged population of five lakh into further difficulties under an organized conspiracy.

Social leader Yousuf Lala has also expressed concern over the plight of the people due to the closure of roads for four months.
