8th Moharram Juloos-e-Aza brought out in all over Pakistan

jaloos8moharramShia Muslims and other azadars massively participated in the Juloos-e-aza of 8th Moharram across Pakistan on Friday.
 
Although all martyrs of Karbala were martyred on 10th of Moharram, Shiites brought out mourning processions on 8th Moharram to commemorate the sacrifices of Hazrat Abbas Alamdar (AS), the flag bearer of Imam Hussain (AS) led army of 72 people.
 
 Hazrat Abbas Alamdar went to Furat river to bring drinking water for minor children of Imam Hussain (AS)’s family. He was lifting a flag and Yazidi army surrounded him and cut his hands but he did not surrender and continue to keep alam (flag).
 
Shia Muslims and other azadars lifted alams in all processions (Juloos) throughout  the country. The shabeeh of zuljanah and other tabarrukat were also seen at the mourning processions.
 
In Karachi, Hujjat ul Islam Maulana Mohammad Ali Naqvi addressed the Majlis congregation at Nishtar Park. He said that Hussainism won defeating Yazidism and whole world appreciates and owns Imam Hussain (AS) and Hussainism.
 
After Majlis, the procession began reaching Numaish Chowrangi. Similar processions were held in provincial and district headquarters as well as big and small cities.
 
Noha Khwan and matami anjumans recited nohas beating their chest. They also raised the slogans of Ya Hussain (AS).
 
Heavy securing arrangements were made. Government has announced three days holiday starting from today. Razakars and scouts were also on duty.
