Emergency relief services should be provided to affectees of recent torrential rains and flash floods, Affectees are struggling for their lives under the open sky while government is busy in photo session. These views were expressed by Deputy Secretary General Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Karachi Syed Raza Naqvi (@srnaqavi) while talking to district office bearers.
Syed Raza Imam Naqvi said that constructing dams not only help us to control flash flooding but will also end worst energy crisis in the country by using the collected water in these reservoirs.
 
He said that lack of planning of previous and current governments have created this mess that every year hundreds of people lost their lives due to flash floods and there is a loss of billions of rupees of infrastructure and citizen’s property.
 
Syed Raza Naqvi (@srnaqavi) said that rulers need to wake up from dead sleep and they should take serious steps along with comprehensive planning to control such crisis. Every government throw its burden of flawed planning on previous governments and acquitted itself from its obligations and duties; this tradition should be ended.
 
Syed Raza Naqvi demanded from the government that affectees should be provided emergency relief services and their loss should be compensated and their rehabilitation work should be intensified.
