Sipah-e-Sahaba mostly involved in terrorist acts this year

Shiite News: Scourge of terrorism has plagued our beloved country Pakistan for almost two decades, it has definitely decreased to some extent since 2015, however, it has not been completely eradicated yet.

This year too, terrorism has once again raised in Pakistan and in the course of a year, about one thousand Pakistanis lost their precious lives.

During the last 10 months, 1,566 incidents were reported in the country and 924 people, including 573 security personnel, were martyred, while 341 terrorists were killed in intelligence operations.

2,466 people were arrested for financially supporting 800 terrorists involved in terrorist activities and 526 criminals were punished under combating the financing of terrorism (CFT).

2024 The highest number of incidents (948) occurred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 582 in Balochistan, 24 in Sindh, 10 in Punjab and 2 in Islamabad.

80 percent of the killed and arrested terrorists belong to Sipah-e-Sahaba and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, which were targeting the Shia sect.

The report surprisingly revealed that the terrorists have also been receiving funding from countries like Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

If we look at it, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province was the most affected by terrorism this year.

Political differences aside, however, the federation and the provinces need to be on the same page on the issue of terrorism.

The federal government needs to fully cooperate with the provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to combat terrorism.

The tribal district of Kurram has been badly affected by terrorism this year.
