Hundreds of precious lives lost on Skardu Road, Kazim Maisam

Shiite News: Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan’s Leader of the Opposition in the Provincial Assembly in Gilgit-Baltistan, Muhammad Kazim Maisam, has said that precious lives being lost due to daily accidents on the Baltistan Highway, but the rulers are enjoying.

He said that we thought that after the construction of the Baltistan Highway, the people here would get travel facilities, but we were disappointed.

Talking to the media, he said that we have the biggest forum, the Assembly, where we have openly raised the issue of Skardu Road, but the government does not seem serious.

He said that hundreds of people have died so far due to the road, some accident happens every day, and traveling on this highway is nothing but inviting death.

Expressing regret, he said that when voices are raised about Skardu Road, accusations of treason are leveled.

God is witness that no one is more loyal than the people of Gilgit-Baltistan, but we are having to obtain certificates of loyalty from those who have become a scourge for the country itself.
