“Takreem e Shuhada Conference” demand for rehabilitation of oppressed people of Parachinar

Shiite News: Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan Khyber Pakhtunkhwa organized a “Takreem e Shuhada Conference” at Madrasa Shaheed Syed Arif Hussain Al-Hussaini.

The conference was attended by Provincial President Allama Janzeb Ali Jafri, General Secretary Shabbir Hussain Sajidi, Central Leader Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Allama Zahid Abbas Kazmi, Member of National Assembly and Parliamentary Leader Engineer Hameed Hussain, President Tehreek Hussaini Parachinar Allama Tajammul Hussain, Allama Nazar Hussain, Allama Abid Hussain Shakeri, Allama Ehsan Mohseni, Provincial Cabinet and District Presidents.

The conference began with recitation of holy Quran and Fateha for the martyrs of Parachinar, after which the speakers shed detailed light on the current situation of Parachinar.

They strongly criticized the government’s negligence and the failure of the Grand Jirga. The speakers said that this jirga, which has been going on for 12 days under the supervision of the General Officer Commanding (GOC), is nothing but humiliation of the elders and a waste of time.

The speakers said that there is a severe shortage of medicines, ghee, sugar and food in Parachinar, people are forced to eat boiled rice.

They said that the post-operation issue should be discussed later, the lives of the people should be saved first. They raised the question of where the terrorists who opened fire on the convoy ?

An appeal was made to the Shia and Sunni elders to show unity and prevent the situation from worsening further.

The speakers clearly said that if we have to be killed, then we should be killed only once, but this cycle of oppression should be ended.

They strongly demanded that the road be opened immediately and the lives of the people of Kurram be restored.

Demands:

Medicines and food should be provided immediately in Parachinar.

More than 200 people have been martyred, in such circumstances, the Shia and Sunni people are forced to take steps to defend themselves.

This war should be stopped immediately and the state should fulfill its responsibility.

Immediate steps should be taken to establish peace, an all-party conference should be held, more jirgas are fruitless, both Sunnis and Shias want peace to be established.

The speakers warned that if the road not opened immediately, sit-ins and protests will be held across the country and the people themselves will be forced to open the roads.

Journalists also attended the conference and spoke to the media at the end of the conference. Finally, Provincial President Allama Janzeb Ali Jafri concluded the meeting and the conference in honor of the martyrs with the prayer of Imam al-Zamaan (AS).
