Petition filed in Peshawar High Court to restore law and order in Kurram

Shiite News: A petition has been filed in the Peshawar High Court to control the deteriorating law and order situation in Kurram district, restore basic facilities and normalize daily life, including other issues.

The petition has taken the position that the security situation in Kurram district has been very bad for the last three months and all the highways have been closed, citizens are facing difficulties due to the closure of roads, while the government is responsible for providing basic facilities to all citizens.

The petition further takes the position that it is the responsibility of the state to provide basic facilities and security to citizens, therefore the government should restore educational activities while also taking steps to provide health facilities to citizens. Patients are also stranded, so Parachinar Airport should be made functional so that seriously ill people can be transferred from there to Peshawar and other hospitals. The hearing on the writ petition is expected in the next few days.
