Open Parachinar Road, people are dying, Engineer Hameed Hussain protests on Assembly Floor
Shiite News: Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan, Parliamentary Leader and Member of National Assembly, Engineer Hameed Hussain informed the government about the alarming situation in Kurram District on the floor of the National Assembly and said that the government has remained a silent spectator.
Engineer Hameed Hussain said that I have been requesting the government in every session of the National Assembly to have mercy on my constituency. Due to the closure of the road to Parachinar, the shortage of medical facilities and life-saving medicines has taken hundreds of lives.
He added that there is also a severe shortage of petroleum products and food items, due to which the people of the area are extremely worried. Despite being occupied by terrorists, the state seems helpless.
Engineer Hameed Hussain complained that whenever he talks to the government about opening the Parachinar road, the answer he gets is that it is a provincial issue, not a federal one.
He said that he is a representative of the National Assembly and it is the responsibility of the federation to resolve the issue.
He also opposed the convoy system, saying that it is dangerous to take people in lines under it, and more lives have been lost due to terrorist attacks.
He said that firing was deliberately done on the way to stop the visit of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister to Parachinar so that he could not visit the area.
Engineer Hameed Hussain said that an excuse is being made for Shia-Sunni fighting in Kurram district, which is not reality but a conspiracy to incite people to fight.
He appealed to the government to open the Parachinar road and relieve the people of their problems.
