Operation against Lashkar-e-Jhangvi: Security forces kill 22 terrorists

Shiite News: Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Gul Imam area of Tank district on information about the presence of terrorists.

During this operation, the forces targeted the hideouts of the terrorists, as a result of which 9 Lashkar-e-Jhangvi terrorists were killed and 6 were injured.

In another operation conducted by security forces in North Waziristan district, 10 Lashkar-e-Jhangvi terrorists were killed.

According to ISPR, in the third operation, security forces foiled an attempt by Khawarij to attack a security forces post in Thuhl district and killed 3 Lashkar-e-Jhangvi terrorists. However, 6 security personnel were martyred during the heavy exchange of fire.

The ISPR said that a clearance operation is underway in the area to eliminate any more terrorists.
